“Make Delicious Egg Curry In 30 Min Or Less”

Today we will learn egg curry recipe, this recipe is a
common household recipe here in India. Nearly every Indian in some point in his
life would have eaten this egg dish. This recipe is quite simple and might only
have slight variations, as cooking style of no two are alike.

 

What is an egg curry?

 

Literally it’s just, egg and curry. Boiled deep fried eggs
in a kind of a tomato sauce. Preparation time of egg dish is also quite less,
around 20 to 30 min, even the ingredients used in curry (sauce) can easily be
obtained from any general store.

I will show you how it’s made, illustrating it to you step
by step with photograph’s, so that you can get a sense of the look and feel of
the recipe throughout the steps

 

Best time to have it

 

This easy egg recipe is best to eat at lunch time, as a main
course dish, as this dish contains generous nutritious value

Also Its best to have it during day time from 6am to 6pm (as
our metabolism is high during this time). This will help our body to easily
digest and use up the calories obtained by this delicious and healthy meal

 

Best served with

 

This delicious yet savouring meal is best served with plain
boiled rice or chapatti. If you’re a bit on the heavier side, I’d say go with
chapatti’s.

I believe I have talked enough, and now it’s time to get
busy

We will need

  • 3 table spoon tomato puree
  • 1 tsp. ginger garlic paste
  • 2 big onions shredded
  • 1 tsp. dhania (coriander) powder
  • ½ tsp. red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp. haldi (turmeric) powder
  • ¼ tsp. garam masala powder (optional)
  • salt to taste

Let’s get started

Deep fry hard boiled eggs till they are golden brown.
Sauté the shredded onions in some oil till they
are golden brown

Now in 1/4 cup of water, add ginger garlic paste and other
powders and mix it well. After which add it to the fried onions

Now add the tomato paste to the onion paste

keep frying this onion tomato paste on low flame
till oil and paste separates.After that add some salt(to taste) and mix well

Now add
2 small cups of water to this now ready paste and simmer
this curry for 5-7 minutes

Now cut the fried eggs breadth wise and place them
in the curry.We cut the eggs before hand so that the
curry is absorbed well in the eggs

Note: we do not mix the eggs in the curry as they will get mashed if we do so

Just one last step, finely cut coriander leaves and sprinkles
It on the now ready egg curry.

Enjoy this either with plain boiled rice
or chapatti’s.
