“Learn This Delicious Egg Salad Sandwich Recipe”
This time when i was thinking of what to make, i found
a gem in the darkest corner, it was egg salad sandwich recipe !
I remember the time when I was a teenager, well a chubby one, and i sure liked to eat a lot, and my mother used to
try everything to constraint my binge eating.
She was a cook at a place, and
on some special occasions she made egg salad sandwiches , especially on kids birthday parties, and many times there
were surplus sandwiches left, which i used to get and i really loved these sandwiches.
They tasted really good to me, they were really rich and creamy, simple delicious, which left me longing for more
The wait ends
I used to always be after my mother to make some of these egg salad sandwiches for me, but
she never used to, saying that I would get fatter, as it had lots of eggs, mayonnaise, and butter in it.
that’s the past now, and years have gone by, and i have become a little better since then, also i have convinced her today to show you how this egg salad sandwich is made, so let’s get started
- 4 table spoon of mayonnaise, learn to make fresh homemade
- Black pepper and oregano seasoning.
- Finely shredded cabbage 100grams (a hand full).
- 2 hard-boiled eggs learn to make
perfect hard boiled eggs
eggs every time, over here.
- Some margarine or butter, to spread on bread slices.
In a plate mash the hard boiled eggs and spread and the shredded cabbage together.
Now add 4 tablespoon mayo to the cabbage, egg mixture and mix them well, like shown
Below make sure you use enough mayo so as to lubricate the mixture well.
Sprinkle some pepper and oregano over it too and blend everything well
Now take two slices of sandwich bread and spread some butter and mayo over it.
Put some egg cabbage mixture we prepared earlier for this egg salad sandwich recipe and spread over the bread slice evenly,
butter the other slice as well and place it over the other face down as shown below.
Now cut the corners and slice it into half diagonally into 2 triangles like this.
You may alternatively also grill these sandwiches, but it’s not necessary,I prefer
not to grill them.
Now prepare another sandwich, that should use up all the mixture left over from the first.
Keep this now ready sandwiches in the refrigerator for three to four hours, so
that the bread slices absorb the mayo in the mixture well and become soft.
Serve these egg salad sandwiches with some ketchup and salad
