Healthy Pizza

No loss of taste with this good for you Pizza! No one will know you are using non fat cheeses. They melt and taste just like the high fatty kinds! No need to skimp when adding cheese any longer! This recipe is low in fat, low in cholesterol and low in calories. Enjoy!


  • 10.5 oz uncut loaf of Marketside (all natural Italian Herb Focaccia) whole wheat, barley and sourdough bread.
  • If you can not find this brand, just look for an Italian sourdough flat loaf that would work for your pizza crust.
  • 1 jar all natural pizza sauce (on sauce isle in grocery store)
  • Handful from a bag of shredded non fat Mozzarella cheese
  • Handful from a bag of shredded non fat Cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 of a white onion cut in to thin strips
  • 1/4 of a green bell pepper cut in to thin strips
  • 3 (1 inch in diameter) white mushrooms thinly cut length wise from cap to stem tip
  • 1/4 of a fresh jalapeno seeded pepper cut up in rings
  • 1/2 of a seeded banana pepper (from a jar) cut in rings
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
  • Cooking spray
  • Tabasco
  • Parmesan cheese from shake container


  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
  • Remove your bread from wrapper and place on plate or cutting board
  • With large spoon, spoon pizza sauce over bread and spread to cover top (you want sauce to be fairly thick on top of pizza)
  • Sprinkle cheeses to cover sauce
  • Sprinkle onion over cheeses
  • Lay on your bell pepper pieces
  • Lay on mushrooms
  • Place pieces of jalapeno on top
  • Place pieces of banana pepper on top
  • Shake red pepper flakes lightly on top
  • Spray your cookie sheet with canola cooking spray lightly
  • Place Pizza on sprayed cookie sheet
  • Cook in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 mins (If you have chosen a thin cut bread, cook 8 mins only)
  • When done, remove pizza with spatulas and place on cutting board
  • Cut pizza with pizza cutter or large knife in to serving sizes
