Garlic Hummus

Alex’s wife, Alex C makes really really good hummus. She was whipping some up this morning and we thought this recipe definitely needed to be on the blog.  It’s a simple recipe that goes great with so many things. We enjoyed ours with crackers, sun dried tomatoes, and buffalo sausage.

  • 1 15oz can of chickpeas
  • Juice of one large lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper

 

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients together in food processor or blender.
  • If after mixing ingredients, the hummus is too thick, add additional olive oil and/or lemon juice.
