Bacon Corn Chowder

Bacon can be used to bring a delicious taste and aroma to any dish.  This dish is an example of such.  Try this special bacon corn chowder and see how the added ingredient of bacon made this recipe really unique.


* 6 bacon strips, diced
* 3/4 cup diced celery
* 1 small onion, diced
* 1 cup diced potato
* 1 cup water
* 1 (14.75 ounce) can cream-style corn
* 1 cup milk
* 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/8 teaspoon pepper


1.  Cook the bacon in a saucepan.  Add in the celery and the onion as well.
2.  Add potatoes and water and allow the dish to simmer.  Stir in the other ingredients of this recipe and season to taste.  Serve immediately and enjoy!
