Crunchy Fried Chicken Recipe

Fried chicken had already been around for long. Some of the well known are the KFC chicken which the base of the company, and still becomes its best selling product all of the time. Wouldn’t it be great if you could cook some at home rather than having to spend extra money just to eat there? Well here’s a recipe that you could try at home

Crunchy Fried Chicken

servings for 8 pieces


  • 1 whole chicken, cut in 8 pieces
  • 3 cloves of garlic, shred
  • 3 cm (1 inch) of peeled ginger
  • 1 teapsoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 2 egg, whisked
  • 350 grams (12.3 ounces) of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • some cooking oil for fry


  • give the chicken a message with the garlic and the ginger shreds
  • Spray the chicken with salt and pepper
  • pinch them with a fork so the ingridients will be absorbed inside
  • Set aside for 15 minutes
  • Put the chicken pieces into the whisked egg
  • Roll each pieces onto the flour that had been mixed with baking powder
  • Put them into the egg whisk again
  • Roll them over the flour again, make sure they’re completly covered with flour
  • Start heating the cooking oil, make sure you use plenty of oil
  • Fry the chicken with big fire, cook until they turn yellowish and swells
  • turn down the fire, but don’t put it off
  • proceed with cooking them with small fire until they are perfectly cooked
  • When done, set aside and make sure there’s no more oil left in the chicken

The cooking oil used to fry the chicken must be quite a lot that the chicken will be soaked in it. If you keep cooking the chicken using medium/big fire instead of small fire then the chicken would be raw on both inside and outside.
